  Digitizing FAQ's  
     
 
1. How do I place an order or request a quote?
   
 
  1. Click on Order/Login, then click "New Customer or to Request a quote, click here to register".

  2. Input your Company/Customer name, password and email address. Click "Submit".

  3. To place an Order click "Place an Order".

  4. To request a quote, click "Request a Quote".

  5. Fill in all of the required contact information and click "Submit"

  6. Fill out the design form with all of the specifics needed for the design (format type, garment type, size, general comments, etc..). Make sure the comments are specific if the artwork is not clear. Next, click the "Browse" button next to "Main File" and locate the artwork you would like to upload (make sure the artwork is less than 2MB and is not an .ai file). You may also include a second piece of artwork by clicking "Browse" next to the "Secondary" image location. Next, click "Add this Design" (it may take a few minutes to upload the artwork depending on the size). To add additional logos repeat step 5 (you can add up to 25 designs).

  7. Click the "If you are finished - click here to go to checkout" button.

  8. Click the "CONTINUE (purchase using credit card)" link.

You should receive a confirming email within a few minutes after placing the quote/order. If you do not, please call 1.866.565.3421 x 2 or email sales@digitizing4less.com so we can make sure that everything was submitted properly.

   
2. Can I start and continue an order later?
  Yes, simply login and you will see your order list. Any recent orders not finished will have a link to "edit order".
   
3. How much do you charge per design?
  We charge by the stitch count. For simple edits and complex edits we charge a flat rate. Click here to review pricing.
   
4. What is your turn around time?
  Our normal turn around time is two business days, Monday through Friday. (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, PST) We also have one business day turnaround time for those times when you need your logo digitized quickly.
   
5. What artwork formats do you accept?
  .jpg, .jpeg, .zip, .exp, .cnd, .ppt, .fdr, .tif, .tiff, .doc, .gif, .pcx, .cdr, .eps, .pdf, .dst, .emb, .isi, .mls, .fmc, .100, .t09, .ksm, . zsk, .bar, .0oo, .dsz, .dsb, .emt, .emx, .esd, .exp, .ssz, .10o, .pch, .stc, .stx, .pmu, .pum, .bro, .jef, .sew, .hus, .pes, .pec, .pcs, .pcd, .pcq, .csd, .xxx, .dsz, .art, .arx, .amt, .ref, .dat, .ds2, .u01, .dat, .u01, .tap, .che, .hu, .m3, .toi, .emn, .pat, .ela, and .bmp. 6. What browsers does your site support?

7. What available formats can my designs be made in?

8. Artwork Submission Guidelines.
  We accept artwork in almost any PC based format provided that the images are clear enough for us to see all of the details. Remember, the better the artwork, the better the digitizing. You may send art as vector (EPS & CDR) or bitmap (jpg, gif, bmp). For bitmap images, 200 to 300 dpi resolution should be enough to achieve good result. For vector artwork, be sure to convert the fonts to curves or lines. If the fonts are not converted, we may see a different font and digitize the file incorrectly. We also request that your comments be specific if your artwork is not self-explanatory (additions, deletions, all fill, etc).
   
9. How secure is the Digitizing4Less web site?
  The Digitizing4Less web site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software from Verisign. This software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

  Our artwork preparation can be done from all sources, such as t-shirts, business cards, jackets & even rough sketches! All artwork must be 2MB or less. Please prepare these in a PC compatible format. You can use almost any image format, we prefer the following formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .tif, .tiff, .doc, .gif, or .pdf.
